Beginning July.

Oh my. Welcome to the first of July! This new month warranted a new hair colour. After an entire age with two tone, roots and red, it was time to go dark again. Dark dark..Black. I've tried to cover the bleached red before and it just wouldn't stick so I figured, go as dark as humanly possible. Maybe it's a bit too black but it'll fade a bit!

Hopefully I'll get some time to really test out the camera this weekend. Let's find me a forest or a mountain to wander around and yes, I will probably take Howard the owl with me. Who needs a real life pet when you have a little porcelain owl?  :)

Later, Bloggeroo's

Sunday

This just goes to show how slack at blogging I've been over the past year. I was rifling through some old photo files as I was trying to do up my blog a bit and I found pretty pics that I've never posted...I don't think, anyway.

I must have been going through a floral phase when I took these!

And as always, my obsession with all things 'sea' shines through...

It's been a fun Sunday, guys. What did you do today?

Attack of the nerdling

In case you haven't noticed, i'm a bit of nerd and this is what i do when i get bored.

Venturing out with Grandma later today. We are going on a great expedition...to the garden centre, the place where brown plants are sold for a small fortune and bunny rabbits get stared at by people who desperately need to have a cute bundle of fluff, but their Mr won't let them have one...*ahem*

see you later alligators.

xoxo

PS. seriously excited about hosting Fashion Forward again this month! roll on Monday!

PPS. if i come back with 50 bunnies...i may need to borrow some carrots.

the autumn walk part deux

As promised here are the rest of the autumn pictures from the other day.

there were so many pinecones, but i couldn't bring them all home :(

It's sad that autumn has nearly gone. I hadn't realised that the colour brown could come in so many beautiful variations and when winter comes it will all be one very dull, boring dark brown. I'd love for it to snow, but the likelihood is that it will melt in to the mud and become more dark brown slush. Can i keep autumn forever? It's so much nicer than being too hot or too cold and covered in mud.

Because i want to keep autumn for as long as possible...

how sweet is the acorn?

superchub bag. miss indie <3

Wouldn't it be great to go into hibernation?!

2 reasons for blogging tonight...

1. Amidst the packing, my Mr and I took some time out to go and see the sea.

Photo's by moi :)

2. Three cheers for Odd Molly!

Hurry up winter!!!
