You don't need a reason to send a gift

This is my latest knit; a special hat for a very good friend of mine.

She doesn't know that it'll be winging its way through the postal system very shortly. I love surprises, I hope she does too <3

Finishing the hat project

I actually finished a project!


It's a little big at the back and sticks up a bit, but i'm thinking of sewing some handmade flowers on one side to keep it down and make it look extra lovely. I think it looks ok for the first knit I've ever managed to finish. <3

Edit: I fixed it with a pretty silver brooch.Can't wait for it to keep me cosy in the winter months.

This is my current project, however...I've run out of yarn! Halfway through as well, can you believe? Must remember to get in touch with the lady who runs the shop I got it from, hopefully they'll have some left! Pattern can be found here...
