Settle down, tired heart

I'm one of those people who like to know precisely what is going to happen prior to it actually happening. Of course, this is mostly impossible, but a little warning makes me feel more comfortable with change. You'll remember that it wasn't long ago that my Mister and I moved to Wales for his work, but we've quickly realised that the chances of me finding work here are slim to none. London has been placed in a jam jar and set out on the table for discussion several times. While London is...nice to visit...ish, I'm not sure if I want to live there.

Even just thinking about London makes me think of negative things. Time to change my mindset. If it is a possibility that I might move there I have to see the good side of the place. Good things about London...Good things about London...Good things...

1. Culture- All the things I love are there: Art, shows, music, vintage!
2. Creative people- I'd probably fit in quite well...'cause i'm a bit weird...
3...

And that's all I got folks. Someone help me fall in love with London, please!

I like London: I heart the little boutique's

My Mr took me to Camden Street for a spot of shopping on Saturday and I came across this gorgeous boutique store, Dahlia. Everything is vintage inspired, I really could have bought all of their stock it was so pretty. I bought a cute dress and fell in love with a pocket watch on a chain which I desperately want. Unfortunately if I bought it I would definitely not make rent at the end of the month! So I was good, but only just.

In London town

I've been away for so long I've forgotten how to blog. I finished uni in May, but since then I've been on a frantic job hunt which is proving not to be very promising at all; so far I've have been asked to zero interviews. What a great way to build self esteem.
I've come to London briefly while my Mr is working here, although I feel very out of water here having spent my life in a small town in the countryside. The city is so big and driving is near impossible, I actually fear having to get in my car incase someone scratches it. My little turtle car was not made for the city! The Tube was a lot of fun and I am proud to announce that I went on multiple downward moving escalators! Now, I must explain that I have a slight aversion to escalators that move downwards, up ones are fine, but the down ones are a nightmare and for many years I have refused point blank to use them.

Trip to London
1. Overcome at least one fear. CHECK!
