Trek Days: Nash Point

Nash Point and St Donats are seriously beautiful places in Wales, I could sit and gaze at the cliff faces forever because I find them fascinating. (About to start working on one of my 30 things I want to do...Study Geology!) We spent the afternoon stopping and starting along the coastal path, sometimes to catch some rays; mostly to take photographs.

We walked through a woodland that lead to the first beach and found this ruined house. Just think of the people who used to live here.

This place is so breathtaking. Emerging from the woods and seeing the flash of sea... be still my beating heart.

Afternoon walks like these make my weekends. The working week really takes it out of me, cleaning is pretty monotonous with very little space for creative thinking. Coming to a place like this helps me recharge. :)

To get to the second beach there were two quite sizable ladders to climb down. I'm such a scaredy cat but I did it!

The Mister went in for a swim. He said the water was warm...but I do NOT believe him! :P

And... home.

I'm putting the finishing touches to this post as I should be getting ready for work, I just want to keep a hold of this past weekend. While I'm here, a big hello to new readers that have found me via Campfire Chic and Tea Talk. Really excited to be sponsoring two of my favourite blogs this month. July is great so far :)
