tonight my mind wants to tell a story...

...and this is where I would love to write it. How cute!

I haven't written a story for a little while, so i've been spending time gathering inspiration for all the pieces that have yet to be freed from the inner workings of my fuzzy little head and now they are ready to be put to paper. Right now i'm about to start work on a screen play based on an idea that my Mr and i have been ping ponging back and forth for 6 months or so. I'm taking a trip back to days when Sunday afternoons were spent watching old movies and television drama's that marked the start of Autumn and wild imagination. Ooooo it makes me feel all cosy inside just thinking about it :) This may explain why i've been obsessed with fairytales lately... i can't help it!

What will you be doing tonight? (Please leave a comment. I love hearing what you guys are getting up to or what you think!)

Oh and does anyone else write????

<3

i was feeling a little silly

i've finished several of the cowls i'll be selling in my etsy shop soon. This is my favourite though...

...it looks green in the picture but it actually a really bright turquoisey blue with lime, purple and some darkness thrown in for good measure. It's so pretty. (oh and note the straight hair!!!) and then the silliness began :D

thinking about it, it would look good in green...hmmm

love love love to you all!

it was the age of princesses and pirate ships

i have always loved fairytales...

and i have always loved to dream

words are art

Could I have had a more productive day today? I think not.

On my to do list were...

- write knitting patterns
- design new embroidery patterns
- cut up old duvet covers to make squares

and boy did those squares take a long time. I'm still not finished! I have my mind set on embroidering them with lines of a poem i'm going to write and then i'll make them in to a big snuggly quilt. What a huge project to set out on! One of my total loves are art/craft that include words. Oh my, here's a question for you... how much do I adore FreyaArt on etsy? Answer: A LOT!

Seriously wonderful <3

Ooo and i thought i'd share what's fast becoming one of my favourite blogs; paperclouds and knitted grass. Go for pretty pictures complemented by beautiful words and the odd haunting melody. Every time I go, I come back inspired. love love love Helena!

Have a lovely tomorrow

xoxo

PS i wish i could share the things i'm working on with you, but my camera is with my Mr and my webcam just wouldn't do them justice. Only the best will do :)

sleepless organisation

Is it just me or are reporter style notebooks just awesome. For some reason I can’t get enough; they are the only kind of note paper I ever pay attention to. If my lecture notes were ever written on anything else, that was it! No learning would occur and I would never look at them again…straight in the bin! I own sooooo many and, surprisingly one hadn’t been used at all. So in an attempt at being organised in the run up to my etsy selling frenzy; I’m being ultra sensible and making lists, setting myself goals and doodling.

Don’t you find doodling really therapeutic? I love it! Every time a new notebook is needed the first thing I must do is customise the little dear. My new notebook is crazy cute with biro scribbles and handwritten wordies. <3<3<3

Etsy selling is keeping me up late tonight. Just the thought of it! Oooo and since my brother always does his green thing and switches the interweb off when he goes to bed; I’m writing this in Word at 1:12 am… No sleep for me tonight. I think I’ve had a bit too much tea today.

Can’t wait to get up, post this and have breakfast whilst watching BuckHollywood. So funny; so nice. 10 points for niceness!

polka dot pajamo's!

Positivity always wins when you live inside my head :)

Here's a few things that are making me smile...

1. Picnic's in the garden. Just me, myself and parsley

2. Coveting Dr. Martens <3

3. Making etsy shop banners...

you didn't think i'd show you before it was finished did you?! tut tut! I will post some ideas for my etsy banner next week, i promise :)

This post comes to you from a sunny back garden. Not even a cloud in the sky :)

Thanks for following me!

PS i'm working on some knitting tutorials for those of you who want to learn the basics of knitting.Should be up in the next few weeks. yey!

When there is nothing else you can do...

go home.

The move is done and my Mr and I are now on separate sides of England. If it weren't for all the unpacking and organising that's needed to fit everything in my little bedroom, I'd feel blue, but I only feel medium blue right now. The intensity of missing-ness will increase, I'm in no doubt of that. *sigh*

My creative space...

is just a little cramped...

...there are boxes everywhere. Down the hall, on the bed, in the middle of the floor and round the edges. I feel so ashamed to share this with the world, but I am moving after all and therefore a little/a lot of mess is allowed.

I felt like being a creative bunny and went on a computerised doodle journey!

How cute would this be as an embroidery?!

xoxo

ps. clicky clicky for more creative spaces

2 reasons for blogging tonight...

1. Amidst the packing, my Mr and I took some time out to go and see the sea.

Photo's by moi :)

2. Three cheers for Odd Molly!

Hurry up winter!!!
